Cherry Coke Confessions

*For the sake of entertainment and privacy, all the names mentioned in this post are fake*  If you've ever been in theater, you know there's always some drama going on. Wether you're involved in it, a witness, a messenger, or just hearing about it. I am currently in a production at a community theatre owned by one of my friends and tonight is opening night. I'm currently writing this before call time. So the director and owner of this theatre company, Jasmine, is a friend of mine. I've performed with him in two shows, he's seen me perform in a few productions, and I was in every show he's directed so far. Everyone in this show is a friend of Jasmine. This past Sunday, we had our first tech rehearsal which was 8 hours long. Everyone was a little on edge that day considering we came in at 2pm and rehearsed until 7pm for a lunch break.  So I recently started looking for a new signature perfume cause I started getting bored of anything cherry scented. Don't get me wrong, I still love my current perfume rotation, I just want to experiment. So I got two perfumes from Demeter. Here's my review: Funeral Home (0.5 fl oz) Price: $10 Notes: Carnations, Chrysanthemums, Mahogany Thoughts: The title wasn't lying. When I first sniffed it, it smelled sterile, like alcohol. When I sniffed it a second time, it smelled like an actual funeral home. I could visually imagine a room with rows of seats, people in black, prayer cards, and a coffin in the middle. I was really taken aback by how eerie it smelled, but I strangely loved it. I kept going back to sniff the bottle. The scent originally started strong, but it died down after a few hours.  So I've been out of high school for one year, so imagine my surprise when I found out today that there's still issues happening because of my school. So in high school I took a theater class in my junior year every other day and senior year every day. With these classes, I payed for college credits that I received from a community college near me, so I can transfer it to my actual college that I attend. I forgot to transfer those credits until recently (I failed a class and FASFA won't consider me a sophomore until I get 30 credits 🙄). Well I got an email today from the community college that I received credits from and they told me that my transcript request has been declined because my high school told them I was an audit for the class and wasn't graded on any assignments. First of all, where the fuck did it say I was an audit??? Second of all, I took the class twice and payed for those credits, I should be getting them. If you've read my other posts, first of all, I love you. Second of all, you probably remember me talking about romanticizing my life. Well I wanted to share some things that I've been doing to make life less meh. This is just the stuff that I do that I found to help a lot.  1. Walks - I've always loved going on walks, especially in the summer. It's a great way to stretch out your limbs, get out of the house, and have some alone time. I like to put in my headphones and play my fav music while I walk for about 45 minutes. Usually I leave the house within the first hour of getting out of bed, that way I'm energized first thing in the morning. Even on days where I'm super busy, I find some time to get up and walk to a coffee shop nearby or get some food.  2. Playlists - I legit have a playlist for everything. My favorite artists, seasons, different emotions, parties, pre games, EVERYTHING! It just helps when I'm feeling a certain way and I want my music to match...

 Most people have something they don't like about themselves. Most of the time, it's something having to do with weight. Either you want to lose or gain weight, which is fine if you have a healthy plan to achieve your weight goals. However, we all know that you want results now even if it meant getting hurt in the long run.  Recently, I've been getting videos on my FYP from different accounts encouraging toxic eating habits. This community call themselves "Angels", named after the Victoria's Secret models, and often have a star emoji next to an angel wing emoji in the username. The emojis spelled out are "starwing", meant to sound like "starving". These videos either talk about how the user has been starving themselves, asking for tips how to lose weight fast, or encouraging people to lose weight by showing a series of photos (disgusting food, XS clothing tags, pigs, etc.). Hey! It's me, Cherry! A lot of people create blogs whether it's for travel, cooking, tutorials, etc. Honestly, I'm just fucking bored. Life is boring. I'm not saying I don't enjoy life, I think its great, but it just starts becoming repetitive. I wake up, go on a walk, text my friends, scroll on social media, then I go to sleep at 4am. That's it! Another thing that starts being repetitive is social media. Every app has basically become the same thing. No one wants to talk anymore. I get so many Instagram reels and TikTok's sent to me to the point where I think I only have real conversations with three people. I'm honestly considering buying a flip phone and throwing my phone in a lake. Another reason I started a blog, I feel like I have so much to say and I could write in a journal, but that's not fun. I want to romanticize my life. I want to come home after a long day and write in my blog while listening to music with a candle lit. It's just a ...
